Deploy Metadata
After making any of the following types of changes to a Member Attribute, you must deploy metadata for the changes to take effect. This process pushes the changes to the Loyalty server, making them available for use across the platform.

Publishing a new Member Attribute.

Editing any aspect of a Published Member Attribute.

Deleting a Published Member Attribute.

Archiving a Published Member Attribute.
Note: The steps below describe how to deploy metadata directly from the Member Attributes screen; you can also deploy metadata from the Deployments screen
To deploy metadata:

Select Program from the top navigation bar, then select Member Attributes from the side navigation menu. The Member Attributes screen is displayed.

From the Actions drop-down menu in the top-right corner of the screen, select Deploy New Version. The New Program Version pop-up window is displayed.

In the Version field, enter a deployment version. The best practice is to increment the previous version number. The previous version number can be found on the Deployments screen within the Program Versions log.

Optionally, in the Note field, enter a description of the changes in this version.

The platform displays a log of all the changes included in this version. Review these changes to confirm that the desired changes are getting deployed.
Note: When multiple team members manage Member Attributes, communicate planned deployments to avoid overwriting changes.

Click Create & Deploy Metadata. A confirmation dialog box is displayed; click Confirm. If the deployment was successful, a success message is displayed.

Click Close.
